How I Help
Sort through the facts, untangle what's emotional from what's practical, and get moving.
What's actually happening, what decision or conflict is really at stake, and where you feel stuck.
Putting the real picture on the table — facts, documents, and how you're actually feeling about it — so you start to see it clearly for yourself, not just hear it from me.
Untangling what feels emotionally biggest from what actually matters for the next step, then aligning the two without confusing them — so the confusion stops running the show.
What you can handle yourself, and where you need a professional.
Questions, documents, and a grounded plan — so you move forward steadier, not more anxious.
The goal isn't just a plan on paper — it's leaving with more clarity and more confidence than when you started.
The Situation
When people face high-stakes situations — divorce, family conflict, legal uncertainty, money stress, career decisions, inheritance issues, disputes, or difficult negotiations — they're often overwhelmed, reactive, and unsure what to do next.
People show up to this at different points. Some haven't talked to anyone yet, and don't know where to start. Some have already talked to a professional and walked away without being fully sure what they actually learned. Others are just stuck weighing whether it's even worth the cost to find out.
Wherever you're starting, I close the distance. You'll have a clearer sense of what kind of support may actually help — a lawyer, mediator, therapist, or advisor — and walk in more organized and ready. No single professional usually covers all of it: a skilled attorney knows the law, but not always the financial picture, and isn't always a great communicator of what they know. A good financial planner knows the numbers, but typically defers the moment anything turns legal. A therapist can sit with the emotional weight, but typically lacks the practical legal or financial tools to help you actually resolve the situation itself. And sometimes a professional's own deep expertise gets in the way — not because they're trying to prove anything, but because it's easy to forget what someone else doesn't know when you're that fluent in your own language. A lot gets lost in translation, and you're left feeling lost or stupid instead of clear. I'd rather you feel capable.
Here's what that looks like in practice:
THE PROFESSIONAL BRIDGE
Someone came to me after she'd already talked to a lawyer and a mediator. She had information — she just didn't have anything to do with it. The mediator told her she needed "proof." She didn't know what that meant. I did: bank and financial statements, the kind of concrete documents that turn "I believe this is true" into something a professional can actually work with. That's the bridge I help people cross — not just between one professional and another, but between what a professional says and what it actually means to go do something about it.
BELIEF VS. PROOF
Someone I worked with once came to me overwhelmed — a complicated separation, a trust, a mediator's numbers, and pieces that didn't connect to each other. She believed the trust mattered. She didn't yet know how much. We went through it together, and one detail in that document turned out to move the numbers by hundreds of thousands of dollars. Once she could see exactly what was at stake and exactly what to do next, the overwhelm turned into motion. She went and got it done.
A single focused session for someone facing a complicated legal, financial, family, or professional situation.
Before we meet, you send a one-page summary of your situation. I review it in advance so I arrive already oriented and ready to dive in — not spending your paid time catching up. You leave the session with a concrete, one-page action plan.
This is preparation and clarity support — not legal advice, therapy, financial planning, investment advice, or mediation.

I practiced as a lawyer for years and have served as COO of a financial planning firm, but Vajra Heart is not a law firm, therapy practice, financial planning practice, or mediation service. This work does not create an attorney-client, advisory, fiduciary, therapeutic, or mediator relationship unless separately agreed in writing. I help people organize, prepare, communicate, and decide. When legal, financial, or mental-health expertise is needed, I help clients identify better questions to ask the appropriate professional.
